Bike School: Train the Trainers for 2012
Volunteers graduated from Howard's General Basics in Maintenance on Jan.8/12
I CAN DO THAT! We were amazed as our young students jumped right in to practice each new skill. For 6 hours, Howard Lee, master trainer, led us on an incredible journey of bike parts, roadside kits, and general maintenance needed to keep you happily riding! His gift of teaching and "can do" attitude inspired us all to enjoy the outdoors on a bike.
BICYCLE CLINICS & RODEOS
One of Will Go Ministries, Canada's main goals is to enhance the lives of children from families of lower income or difficult circumstances. During one of our outreaches, a little boy asked us if we could help him get a bike. From that encounter was born our Cycles for Kidz program, spearheaded by Jenn M, a longtime WG volunteer. This program not only gives bikes to kids, but also teaches them safe riding practices, maintenance, and ways to enhance our environment. Donations and active volunteers make this program a reality.
